And How, BB Sledge, Tom McCauley [Comedian]

<><><>Doors at 7. Show at 8. $5. Good vibes all night. <><><>

Omahans pass through your fair city in search of present memories. Let's sip 'n sway the sombre night away.

*And How* - And How brings psychedelia into fruition with a spaghetti western score that leaves one feeling rather road-worn. From Omaha, Nebraska, And How is: Ryan Menchaca’s voice & 6 strings, Ashlee Riggs' walking phalanges, Kafele Williams blowing smooth madness, Maureen O’Brian bringing sticks down & Andy Cubrich gently plucking all the while.

*BB Sledge* - Baby Sledge is the fairly new musical entertainment and art project of House Vacations singer Andy Birch. What began as an experiment in rawness and immediacy has managed
to become an over-the-top, all-or-nothing, haphazard swirl of bit-crushed synth daggers, meat mallet guitar-work, fuzzy electronic percussion, idiosyncratic vocals, and a live acoustic percussionist very precisely flailing among a forest of drums over and under all of it. Also guaranteed: Gently provocative video projections solely for your viewing pleasure.

*Tom McCauley* - Tom McCauley is a writer, comedian, musician and endangered dolphin living in Omaha, Nebraska. He has an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He has been a creative writing teacher, a grant writer, an advertising copywriter, an arts administrator, a house cleaner, a bookseller, a truck loader and co-editor of the online poetry journal Strange Machine. With his band The Answer Team, he wrote and performed the score for Constance Congdon's Tales of the Lost Formicans for the 2012 Great Plains Theatre Conference. His poem “People Are Not Lights” recently won an award from the Academy of American Poets. Follow him on Instagram @tomdavidmccauley if you like memes and videos of people practicing the guitar.
